“My name is Rick Ciotti, and I started The Paint Spot in 2004 when it became obvious there was a lack of people selling materials in our industry who actually knew our industry. Our mission was, and still is, to change the world one body shop at a time.”
Rick has been hands-on in the body and paint business since 1979. Through SLIX — a shop he started in 1996 and later gave to his son — The Paint Spot uses everything it sells. If a product doesn’t meet the standard, it isn’t stocked, no matter how much profit is in it.
He also sponsors events and runs hands-on classes through the year — extensive enough that people have walked away and started their own businesses.
